“IS IT BLUE BINS tonight?” I called back into the house. The reply was affirmative, and I proceeded down the garden path through the deepening twilight. The recycling bin was waiting for me behind the garage, but it wasn’t the only thing that was blue – the sky was a rich flood of dark cobalt.
