PAST EVENT: Webinar: Global Christianity: The future of the Catholic church.

Join us for this Tablet webinar as we explore the future of the Catholic Church.

Catholicism has expanded more through the last 100 years than any time in its 2,000 years of existence and it is now estimated that 75% of Catholics live outside of the west.  So what does this mean for Catholicism? How are changing demographics and population growth in different parts of the world shaping the Catholic Church of the future?

Our panel for this discussion will be:

Professor Ian Linden, Blackfriars Hall, Oxford, is on the Advisory Board of Las Casas Institute and a Visiting Professor at St. Mary’s University, Strawberry Hill.

Rita Joseph, a New Delhi-based journalist who has worked for the nationwide Press Trust of India and as features editor of The Statesman, an English-language daily newspaper in India.  She has also worked as Deputy Editor of UCANEWS.com (India division) and taught journalism in the church-run media college NISCORT.
