PAST EVENT: Webinar: 21st century role of miracles and apparitions. Can they still be a constructive faith experience?

Join Dr Nick Wells as he talks about how miracles and apparitions are very much part of a constructive faith experience.

Nick studied physics at Cambridge and then went and studied for a doctorate in Plasma Physics. He was an atheist/materialist and believed that we were just very complicated arrangements of atoms and molecules in motion. After his studies he worked as a research engineer for the BBC and married a Catholic young woman and through her and her friends he learnt about miracles and set out to learn more about them ... in order to disprove them. However, in the end, the weight of evidence of so many miracles convinced him that there is more to us than just the physical, and, most reluctantly, he decided that God must exist and was baptised into the Church.

In this webinar we explore why Nick has never lost his fascination of miracles, and why he thinks they are important in building people’s faith.
