Our speakers for this event will be:

Peter Stanford (Host)is an award-winning British writer, journalist, broadcaster and campaigner, best known for his biographies and books on the history, theology and cultural significance of religious ideas and his work as director of the Longford Trust for prison reform.

Leonie Caldecott is a writer and editor living in the West Country. As a freelance journalist she won the Catherine Pakenham Award, and later went on to co-edit Second Spring, the journal of the Centre for Faith and Culture, with her late husband. She has published several books including What Do Catholics Believe? and her writing has appeared in publications ranging from the Best Spiritual Writing collections to Church Life Journal. 

Gregory Wolfe is a writer, teacher, editor, and publisher. In 1989 he founded Image, one of America’s leading literary journals, which he edited for thirty years. He was also the founding director of the Seattle Pacific University MFA in Creative Writing program. He is currently publisher and editor of an indie literary press, Slant Books. Wolfe’s writing has appeared in numerous publications, including the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, First Things, Commonweal, and America. In 2005 he was a judge for the National Book Awards. His books include Beauty Will Save the World, Intruding Upon the Timeless, and The Operation of Grace.
