Do you want to be a director of The Tablet?

The Tablet is the oldest and most influential Catholic journal in the English-speaking world. The editor and chief executive report to a board of directors of up to 12 people who are responsible for the strategic direction of the business.

The Tablet is undergoing a renaissance. Under the editorship of Brendan Walsh, the magazine is a lively, confident, and outward-looking forum for progressive Catholics and Christians. We have ambitious plans for expansion and are currently looking for up to three people to join our board to help develop our programme.

We particularly welcome expressions of interest from women and younger readers. A knowledge of digital media, management and/or finance would be an advantage. But the main requirement is a passion for The Tablet and its unique role as the voice for lay people in the Church.
